POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – An employee of a Poughkeepsie Rite Aid has been charged with identity theft and the drug store chain is warning customers to monitor their bank and credit card statements for any problems, according to a report by the Poughkeepsie Journal.
Kevin Thomas, 26, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, was arrested ijn November 2015 and charged with second-degree identify theft, a felony, the Poughkeepsie Journal story said.
Authorities are alerting anyone who may have shopped at the drugstore at 238 Hooker Ave. in the last year to watch for any unauthorized transactions, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
