“These services and features are available through ‘CenHub,’ our new web-based energy services platform,” said Michael L. Mosher, president and chief executive officer of Central Hudson. “CenHub is an engaging, customer-focused exchange offering free, personalized and actionable information for managing energy use."
CenHub expands upon the tools and information customers can use to learn more about using and saving energy, and is one of a select group of utility pilot demonstration projects developed as part of New York’s Reforming the Energy Vision movement. CenHub and all of its features are available to customers enrolled in the utility’s free My Account service, accessible online and by mobile device through Central Hudson’s website, using their current user ID and password.
Customers who have not already enrolled may do so by visiting their website. Once enrolled, customers will be able to access all of the features of CenHub.
“Customers who take steps to save energy can earn points redeemable for popular gift cards or to support community service organizations,” said Mosher. “CenHub is fun and interactive, and provides ideas and products that promote energy efficiency. We encourage all our customers to log on to learn how this great new service can help them save energy, and be rewarded for doing so.”
