St. Josephs Place, located in and operated by Bon Secours Community Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), has received U.S. News & World Report’s “high performance overall and high performance for short-term rehabilitation” designations.
U.S. News & World Report is a leading expert in the evaluation and rating of healthcare providers across the country. Over 15,000 nursing homes and rehabilitation centers nationwide were evaluated. This year, only 15 percent of nursing homes earned the high performance designation. The results of the report were based on ratings from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, health inspections, nurse staffing and measures of medical quality of care and rehabilitation therapy.
St. Josephs Place’s administrator Luhdy Isidro, RN, BSN, MPA, LNHA, CALA, attributes this recognition to the extraordinary care and dedication of the entire staff.
“Our compassionate, skilled team members continually strive to provide the highest quality services for our residents and unmatched peace of mind for their families,” said Isidro. “We love our residents like family, and it shows in how we care for them. Being named one of the best nursing homes in the country by U.S. News & World Report is one illustration of our efforts to provide exceptional care to all those we serve.”
