Closures, Lane Reductions Scheduled For This Hudson Valley Parkway
For about a week, construction work will close parts of a parkway in the Hudson Valley, causing closures and reductions in multiple areas.
Starting on Sunday, April 21, and lasting through Thursday, April 25, Westchester County’s Hutchinson River Parkway will be subject to lane reductions and ramp closures, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) announced.
The closures, which will last from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day for construction work, will affect the following areas:

A Hudson Valley man was charged with making a terroristic after allegedly repeatedly calling a police department and making threats of violence, police said.
Dutchess County resident Michael A. Cavagnolo, 48, of Hyde Park, was charged on Tuesday, March 5, with making threats against the town of Hyde Park Police, said Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
According to Watterson, the Sheriff's Office was requested to investigate and found that on several occasions, he threatened to shoot officers and destroy their facility.
