Joe Gomez has worked in news rooms all across the world.

He started as a radio news reporter at Newsradio 850 KOA in Denver shortly after leaving the University of Colorado at Boulder. Gomez then went on to work as a reporter in Seattle, Houston, Dallas and Washington DC, where he was a National Correspondent for NBC News Radio.

He has appeared on National Television in the US, the UK and in Pakistan as a reporter and commentator.

Fatal Crash: 54-Year-Old Hauppauge Man Struck By Pickup Truck In Nesconset A Long Island man was hit and killed by a pickup truck overnight. The incident took place in Suffolk County around 9:20 p.m., Monday, March 3 in Nesconset. Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating the crash that killed Paul Harrison, age 54, of Hauppauge when his scooter was struck by a 2018 Dodge Ram driven traveling westbound on Route 347 at the intersection of Southern Boulevard. Senior Citizen In Maryland Rescued After Fall In Home Left Her Paralyzed For Days A Rockville woman who had fallen in her home was rescued after being unable to move for four days, according to police. The unnamed senior citizen had fallen and was conscious but in distress for several days, Rockville Police said. Mail was piling up on her door and she was unresponsive to knocks. Rockville Police Officer Tyler Haines was contacted by the Rockville Senior Center and made entry into the home where he found the woman paralyzed on the floor. Surveillance Footage Captures Maryland LensCrafters Robbery (Video) Surveillance video footage captured a robbery of a LensCrafters store in Bethesda and now police are looking for the suspects, officials say. Three men entered the store located in the 7100 block of Arlington Rd., after one of the suspects smashed through a glass door on Dec. 1, 2021, according to Montgomery County Police. Man Fires Gun In Armed Robbery At 7-Eleven In Silver Spring: Police A man fired a gun during an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Montgomery County, according to police. Baltimore Woman Missing For Days: Police A 23-year-old woman from Baltimore has gone missing and police are asking for the public's help in finding her. Diamond Nance was last seen on Jan. 29, in the area of Mosher at Riggs Avenue. She was wearing a black coat and scarf and is described as being 5’1” and weighing approximately 100 lbs. Victim Attacked With Knife At Howard County Truck Stop: Police A man has been arrested after cutting another man several times at a truck stop in Jessup, according to police. Dereck Saunders, 54, got into a fight with an acquaintance at the TA Travel Center in the 7500 block of Assateague Drive, where he cut him numerous times on Jan. 16, Howard County Police said. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries Saunders was arrested and charged with first and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.

Pedestrian Dead After Crash In Baltimore County, Good Samaritan Injured: Police A pedestrian is dead after getting struck by a car in Baltimore County and a good Samaritan who tried to help is in the hospital after also being hit, according to police.
