SOMERS, N.Y. -The visiting Somers wrestling team toppled Edgemont Tuesday, 51-28.
The Tuskers recorded four pins in the eight contested matches, the quickest coming at 160 pounds where Brian Realbuto stopped Chris Kim in 1:18. Realbuto's brother, Dylan, stopped Rikesh Mistry in 3:37 at 113 pounds.
Also winning by pinfall for Somers were Kyle Turchick over Marc Ficuciello in 3:11 at 132 pounds and Mark Lasar over Saumil Kothari in 1:31 at 152 pounds.
The only victory by decision for Somers was delivered at 220 pounds by Domenic DeVita 1-0 over Daniel Komberg.
No Tuskers were pinned in the match. Winning by decision for Edgemont were Will Graybeal, who recorded a 10-0 major decision over Alexander Graap at 126 pounds, Colin Hopkins at 138 pounds, and Peter Berman at 145 pounds.
