Police: Somers Lincoln Hall Runaways Now "Missing"

SOMERS, N.Y. – Three students from the Somers' Lincoln Hall School for Boys left the premises without authorization very early Sunday morning, according to New York State Police in Somers.

State Trooper Paul Carinci described the investigation as “still pending.” He said the boys were last seen in the Bedford area. A search proved fruitless. The boys, whose names have not been released because they are minors, have now been classified as missing persons, Carinci said.

Lincoln Hall School for Boys in the Lincolndale area of Somers is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit facility aimed at providing care, guidance and education to troubled boys between the ages of 12-16. Residents come from various parts of New York and are referred there by family courts and other social services agencies.
