Missing Long Island Girl Found

A 15-year-old girl who went missing on Long Island has been located.

Andrea Base, who had last been seen at her residence on 2nd Avenue in New Hyde Park on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 11 p.m., has been found, Nassau County Police announced on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 18.

A 15-year-old girl has gone missing on Long Island and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her.

According to Nassau County Police Missing Persons Squad detectives, Andrea Base was last seen at her residence on 2nd Avenue in New Hyde Park on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 11 p.m.

She is described as being 5-foot-4, 140 pounds, with an average build, light complexion, long dirty blonde/brown straight hair and brown eyes. 

 She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black stretch pants and black sneakers.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above missing juvenile to please contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
