Mahopac Man Charged With DWI In St. Patrick's Day Weekend Detail

A total of 31 people have been charged following the St. Patrick’s Day weekend detail conducted by state and local law enforcement groups between Friday, March 15 and Monday, March 18.

The 31 arrests include the following individuals:

  • Jose Garcia-Moreno, 45, of Norwalk, Connecticut was charged with DWI and having a BAC .08% or more, both misdemeanors.
  • Charles Premuto, 34, of Mahopac was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor.  
  • Michael George, 44, of Germantown was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, as well as seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, in the Town of Red Hook.
  • Tristan Geary, 21, of Brookline, Massachusetts was charged with DWI and having a BAC of .08 or more, both misdemeanors, in the Town of Red Hook.
  • Josephine Bloodgood, 52, of New Paltz was charged with DWAI, a violation, in the Village of Red Hook.
  • Michael Taber, 22, of Wappingers Falls was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, in the Town of East Fishkill.
  • Luis Santamariasanchz, 34, of Brooklyn was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and false personation, both misdemeanors, in the Town of East Fishkill.
  • Daniel Usher, 29, of Wappingers Falls was charged with DWI, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors, in the Town of East Fishkill.
  • Michelle Saposnick, 32, of Hopewell Junction was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, in the Town of East Fishkill.
  • Larry Tuttle Jr., 30, of Wappingers Falls was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors, as well as failing to obey a police officer, a traffic infraction, in the Town of East Fishkill.
  • Christopher Barreca, 44, of Poughkeepsie was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
  • Daneil McLaughlin, 28, of Poughkeepsie was charged with DWI and having a BAC of .08 or more, both misdemeanors, in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
  • Zachary VanKleeck, 19, of Hyde Park was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI (BAC .18 or more), both misdemeanors, in the Town of Hyde Park.
  • Jason Reilly, 44, of Poughkeepsie was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
  • Thomas Comizio, 57, of Poughkeepsie was charged with DWI and having a BAC of .08 or more, both misdemeanors, in the Town of LaGrange.
  • Jaimeek Fuller, 23, of Poughkeepsie was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • William James Jr., 57, of Fishkill was charged with DWAI, combining drugs and alcohol as well as seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors, in the Town of Hyde Park.
  • Marnie Wood, 43, of Poughkeepsie was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in the City of Poughkeepsie. 
  • Thomas Conger, 60, of Union Vale was charged with DWI and having a BAC .08 or more, both misdemeanors, in the Town of LaGrange.
  • Adrian Decarlo, 50, of East Fishkill was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, in the Town of LaGrange.
  • Matthew Randolph, 30, of Poughkeepsie was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI (BAC of .18 or more), both misdemeanors, in the City of Poughkeepsie.
  • Joshua Davis, 48, of Wappingers Falls was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor.
  • Mark Russe, 58, of Wappingers Falls was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI (BAC of .18 or more), both misdemeanors.
  • Albert Lara, 28, of East Elmhurst was charged with DWI and having a BAC of .08% or more, both misdemeanors.
  • Michael Casino, 32, of Wappingers Falls was charged with DWI and having a BAC of .08 or more, both misdemeanors.
  • Jodi Bernstein, 48, of Hopewell Junction was charged with DWI and having a BAC of .08 or more, both misdemeanors.
  • Alyssa Cenname, 25, of Hopewell Junction was charged with DWI and having a BAC of .08 or more, both misdemeanors.
  • Justin Long, 31, of Poughkeepsie was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI (BAC of .18 or more), both misdemeanors.
  • Frank Nicodemus, 31, of Wappingers Falls was charged with DWI and having a BAC of .08 or more, both misdemeanors.
  • Jonathan Almonte, 28, of Hopewell Junction was charged with DWI and having a BAC of .08 or more, both misdemeanors.
  • A 26-year-old female from Germantown, and a 20-year-old male from Hyde Park were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

The following law enforcement agencies participated in the detail, which included initiating a series of increased enforcement efforts:

  • New York State Police
  • Town and City of Poughkeepsie Police Departments
  • Town of Hyde Park Police Department
  • Town of East Fishkill Police Department
  • Village of Millerton Police Department
  • Village of Red Hook Police Department

“Once again these coordinated patrols reinforce the message to separate two behaviors, and that impaired driving enforcement and prosecution is a priority in Dutchess County,” said Dutchess County STOP-DWI Coordinator William C. Johnson. “St Patrick’s Day should be fun and festive for everybody, but for many, it has become synonymous with drinking. We acknowledge law enforcement’s efforts to identify and apprehend those drivers who choose to drive impaired.”
