SOMERS, N.Y. - Nicholas Edward DeRobertis of Somers died July 1. He was 60.
DeRobertis was born in New York, in 1953, to Betty Elsie and Dominick A. DeRobertis. A 1971 Yorktown High School graduate, he excelled in varsity lacrosse at Franklin and Marshall College while earning his degree in Biology. He studied at New York Medical College and went on to pursue his passion of Emergency and Family Medicine at what would become his second home, St. Joseph's Medical Center.
DeRobertis is survived by his wife, Judith; children, Alicia Nicole, Nicholas Edward, Nina Marie, and Maria Elise; his father, Dominick A. DeRobertis; and siblings, Karen Brett, Dominick DeRobertis, Betty MacAllister, and Donna Fox.
Calling hours are Friday, July 5 at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Clarke Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6 at St. Patrick's Church, Yorktown Heights.
