SOMERS, N.Y. - On July 18 at about 8:15 a.m. troopers from the New York State Police, Somers barracks, arrested two men in Somers on charges of forging a medical prescription. Carlos A. Hannemann, 22, and Jordan Bennett, 29, both of Cortlandt Manor, were charged with a 2nd degree felony under the New York State penal law.
In other news, Carol E. Topping, 46, of Carmel was stopped by state police on Route 116 in Somers at about 8:15 p.m. on July 18. Topping was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 of 1%, a DWI misdemeanor. This was a first offense.
Jeanne M. Wiltin, 55, of Katonah was arrested as she drove on to the 684 northbound ramp at Exit 8 at about 11 p.m. on July 20. She was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. It was a second offense.
Twenty-three-year old Eric J. DeLeon of Yorktown Heights was stopped on July 21 at about 2 a.m. on Route 35 in Somers. He was charged with a first offense DWI, with a BAC of .08 of 1%.
