Somers Schools: Somers schools are closed for winter recess and will reopen Feb. 25.
Somers Town Offices: Town offices are closed for the Presidents' Day holiday and will reopen Tuesday.
Somers Library: The Somers Library is closed for the Presidents' Day holiday and will reopen Tuesday.
Kids Night at the Museum: 6:30-8 p.m. Children are invited to wear their pyjamas and listen to stories about historic animals, people and places in Somers. Tuesday, Feb. 19
Be A Wild Thing: 2-3 p.m. Children are invited to read "Where The Wild Things Are," make 'wild thing feet' and eat some monster munch. It's at the Somers Library on Primrose Street in Reis Park.
Northern Star Quilters' Guild: 6:30-7:30 p.m. The guild meets in the cafeteria of Kennedy Catholic High School, Route 138, Somers.
Substance Abuse Council: 6:30 p.m. The council meets at the Somers Town House, 335 Route 202, Somers.
Zoning Board of Appeals: 7:30 p.m. The board meets at the Somers Town House, 335 Route 202, Somers.

Make A Wild Thing: 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Children are invited to make a 'wild thing puppet' at the Somers Library on Primrose Street in Reis Park.
Thursday, Feb. 21
See A Wild Thing: 2 p.m. Read the book and see the movie "Where The Wild Things Are" at the Somers Library on Primrose Street in Reis Park.
Somers Open Space Committee: 7:30 p.m. The committee meets at the Town House, 335 Route 202, Somers.
