SOMERS, N.Y. – The Wolf Conservation Center and Muscoot Farm have educational activities planned for the whole family on Coyote Awareness Day Sunday, April 12, from 1-3 p.m., at Muscoot Farm.
Ecologist and evolutionary biologist Javier Monzón, and Dan Bogan of the New York suburban coyote study, will lead two talks to help visitors better understand the behavior and benefits of the Eastern coyote and to empower the community with the tools, information and resources required to coexist with the misunderstood predator.
The day will include crafts, interactive activities and fun for adults and children.
Muscoot Farm is at 51 Route 100, Katonah.
