Somers Library Offers Youth Programs For Winter, Spring

SOMERS, N.Y. -- A manga club is among the many teen programs kicking off winter and spring at the Somers Library.

A rundown of all events is below. 

High School Gaming Club: Join the club to play video games, board games and more. Meets from 2:45-4:15 p.m. Fridays, Jan. 23, Feb. 13, Feb. 27, March 13, March 27, April 10, April 24, May 8 and June 5. 

Manga Club: Tweens and teens work together to create their own manga story. New members are welcome. Meetings are every other Wednesday, from Jan. 21 through May 27 from 3-4:15 p.m. There will be no meeting on Wednesdays, Feb. 18, and April 1. 

Junior High Book and Games Club: For teens and tweens in grades six-nine. Discuss books and authors, play games and have fun. Take bus No. 52. Meets every other Tuesday from 3:15-4:30 p.m., from Jan. 20 through May 26. There will be no meeting Tuesdays, Feb. 17 and March 31.
