Storm Forces Closing Of Greenwich School Facilities For Weekend GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Town of Greenwich releases the following snowstorm-related announcements:All Greenwich Public School buildings are closed Saturday, Jan. 23 and Sunday, Jan. 24 -- including Greenwich High School, where the SAT exam was scheduled to be administered.  All activities using Greenwich school facilities are cancelled with the exception of the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra Concert on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 4 p.m.  This concert will proceed as scheduled.

The shelter has found a company that is willing to pay them by the pound for these items, and the money will be used to help spay, neuter and train the animals for their future adopting homes. The old shoes will be donated to charities in need of them. Shoe donations are being collected until Sept. 20 and may be brought to the shelter. Funeral services of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS will be held at Central Funeral Home, 215 West Englewood Avenue in Englewood on Thursday at 7 p.m.  A funeral will be held on Friday, at 10 a.m. at Central Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at 11:30 a.m.
