Scarsdale Rec Softball Teams Need Players

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Some Scarsdale Recreation Department girls' softball league teams are in jeopardy because of low registration.

Enrollment is off for teams in the third- through eighth-grade divisions.

According to a Recreation Department press release, "We are running a high risk of not having enough players to formulate a sufficient number of teams for these specific grades."

Late registration is available for those currently in kindergarten through grade 8. Teams are organized by grade and local neighborhood school area. Grades may be combined based on registration numbers.

The season begins April 28, and ends June 21.
