SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Former New York Yankee Mickey Rivers threw out the first pitch for Scarsdale Little League’s opening day ceremony, according to scarsdale10583.com.
Rivers, an all-star center fielder, and News 12 sports anchor Walt Fowler participated in the ceremony Saturday, scarsdale10583.com reported.
Scarsdale Little League has an annual tradition of having a baseball legend throw the first pitch on opening day, according to scarsdale10583.com.
