Scarsdale Five Send Elmsford to Section 4 Play

SILVER LAKE, N.Y. -- Elmsford opens play Saturday in the Section 4 Little League Baseball Junior Championships at Silver Lake Park. The District 20 champions play the winner of District 17 (Orange and Sullivan Counties) and District 19 (Southern Dutchess), 10 a.m.

The three other districts represented are Stony Point (District 18), District 21 (Southern Westchester) and District 33 (Brewster). The tournament runs through Monday, July 25. If a second game is needed, it will be played, Tuesday.

Elmsford is comprised of Brian Malone, Gawayne Stockton and Anthony Zarra of White Plains, Nicolas Petrilli, Eric Last, Andrew Scheinert, Ben Weiser, Chris Gacinski and Aahan Naik from Scarsdale, Alex Segnini and Matt Webster of Hartsdale, Tarrytown’s Eric Paocelli and Elmsford’s Tyler Cowles.
