Scarsdale School Board Unveils Meeting Agendas

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Board of Education of the Scarsdale Union Free School District will hold the following meetings:

  • 6 p.m. Monday at Scarsdale High School, 2 Brewster Road, room 170-172. The board will meet with representatives of the middle school and high school PTAs. 
  • At 7 p.m. Monday, the board will hold a work session, at which it will hear a report from Thomas Hagerman, superintendent of schools, Lynne Shain, assistant superintendent for curriculum, assessment and instruction, and Jerry Crisci, director of instructional technology and innovation, on the next iteration of "A Scarsdale Education for Tomorrow (SET 2.0)." SET 2.0 focuses on application, making and doing, and using skills and knowledge to solve complex problems. 
  • At 8 p.m. Monday, the board will conduct a business meeting and is expected to act on certain items. 
Members of the public are invited to attend the meetings and speak at designated times.
