SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Scarsdale Public Schools recently welcomed Roni Kramer as the interim director of Special Education.
Kramer recently retired as the director of Special Education in the Mamaroneck Union Free School District, where she was responsible for program development, provision of services and teacher supervision, according to a press release.
Kramer brings a 30-year career as a school psychologist and special education administrator to the district and she established Pre-K to 12th grade programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as Integrated Co-Teaching programs in all three of the Westchester districts where she has worked, according to a release from the school district.
"In addition to a Special Education Teacher certification, Ms. Kramer is a certified School Psychologist in both New York and Connecticut, and is also a Diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology," according to the release. "She has served as an adjunct professor in special education at Lehman College and Brooklyn College, and is currently a clinical supervisor for special education student teachers at Pace University."
