SCARSDALE, N.Y. The extension of service time for a pair of Scarsdale firefighters is among the items on the agenda for Tuesday night's Scarsdale Village Board of Trustees meeting. The first meeting of 2012 gets under way at 8 p.m. in Rutherford Hall in Village Hall.
The extensions of service time requests are for firefighter Dennis Wasiczco and Capt. Gerard McIlvain.
Also on the agenda: transferring money from the capital budget for the purchase of highway equipment and the approval of a professional agreement for sewer work.
The Scarsdale Board of Education meets at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the school administration office in Scarsdale High School, Rooms 170-72. The board will hear public input on a proposed education foundation, and will hear presentations on long-term facility needs and "Scarsdale Technology: Back to the Future. The board is also expected to accept several gifts from the community.
The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold its first meeting of the year at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, in Rutherford Hall at Village Hall. The board plans to consider two items:
The application of Jill and Clark Gettinger for a variance to legalize an existing swimming pool that intrudes into the required rear-yard setback at 50 Sheldrake Road;
The application of Theresa and C. Jeffrey Stein for a variance to install a permanent emergency generator in the side yard at 92 Penn Road.
Copies of the applications are on file with the Building Department and may be viewed by interested parties at any time during usual business hours.
The Board of Architectural Review meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Rutherford Hall at Village Hall and will consider:
- An addition at 32 Majory La.
- Additions at 39 Olmsted Road
- A new house at 75 Hampton Road (preliminary)
- Exterior alterations at 38 Park Road
- Exterior changes at 34 Sheldrake Road (amendment)
- An addition at 170 Boulevard
- A new house at 11 Wynmor Road (preliminary)
