SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Here are the top stories of the week in Scarsdale. 

  • Mia Fram Davidson, a cantor at Westchester Reform Temple in Scarsdale, shares the screen with Tina Fey, Jane Fonda, Jason Bateman and the cast of a new movie filming in Westchester. The movie is an adaption on Jonathan Tropper’s 2010 novel, which follows a Jewish family after the death of its patriarch. Davidson appears in three scenes, including the opening funeral scene. 
  • The Scarsdale school board has decided at the second of two forums on the 2013-2014 budget to scratch the proposed wellness center and comply with the state-mandated tax cap. Residents voice their displeasure with the adopted 2013-2014 budget at both forums after voting it down May 21. 
  • “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 5 cast member Teresa Guidice will return to Midway Wine and Liquors in Scarsdale to sign bottles of her new sparkling wine, “Fabellini” from 4 to 7 p.m. She will also sign copies of her new cookbook, “Fabulicous”.
