SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Faculty members at the Hoff-Barthelson Music School in Scarsdale will host a piano recital for members of the community in March.
At 5 p.m. on March 10, faculty pianists Elena Belli and Delana Thomsen will play the latest concert in the Hoff-Barhtelson Artist Series.
The program, ¡Canciones y Danzas! Will feature songs and dances for two pianos including music composed by Manuel de Falla, Enrique Granadas and Manuel Infante, three 19th century Spanish composers who wrote and performed well into the 20th century.
Thomsen has given recitals around the world, hosting master classes in Iceland and Bulgaria. She has played at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Bruno Walter Auditorium. She received the Ruth Slenczynska Chamber Music Award.
Belli has performed internationally as both a soloist and chamber musician. She appears regularly with leading ensembles, including the Metropolitan and New York City Opera.
