SCARSDALE, N.Y. Tree removal along the Bronx River Parkway will lead to further northbound lane and exit ramp closures beginning Wednesday morning in Scarsdale and Greenburgh.
The northbound right lane between Harney Road (exit 10) and Crane Road (exit 12), as well as the exit 12 ramp, will be closed temporarily as work on the Crane Road Bridge Project continues. The tree work is part of the bridge project. The closures will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting on Wednesday and continuing through Friday.
Drivers are instructed to use the Harney Road exit as a detour. Delays are expected as motorists seek alternate routes. These closures are in addition to the previously announced nighttime lane closures set to begin Monday night.
The three-year Crane Road Bridge project is still in the beginning phase after starting last month. The current bridge will remain in use during most of the project while a new bridge is constructed alongside it.
