SCARSDALE, N.Y. Two incidents at the Christie Place parking garage have caused the Scarsdale Police Department to increase patrols there.
A Ross Road resident reported his car's side mirror, valued at $410, was stolen from his vehicle between 7:15 a.m. and 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, while parked at the garage. Also, a Montgomery Road resident told police Saturday afternoon that a car cover valued at $130 had been stolen from his vehicle in the garage between Feb. 18 and Feb. 21.

Rental car not returned: Budget Rent A Car reported Wednesday, Feb. 22, that a Ford Focus rented from the company's location at Scarsdale Shell Service Center on Jan. 11 had not been returned. It was due back Jan. 18, and Budget had been attempting to contact the renter since then, the report said.
Supermarket theft: DeCicco Marketplace on East Parkway reported a theft Thursday, Feb. 23. According to the police report, the theft, classified as grand larceny, occurred Dec. 24. Police have a suspect, but no further information was released.
Parcels missing: A former resident now living in White Plains reported Thursday, Feb. 23, that nine FedEx boxes containing documents were taken from his former residence on Wayside Lane sometime between Monday, Feb. 20, and Thursday. No dollar value was given for the documents.
ID theft: A Huntington Avenue resident reported Saturday, Feb. 25, that someone had obtained a Chase business credit card in his name and charged $11,000 to it.
