Scarsdale Teen Center Rock Fundraiser Nets $8,000

WHITE PLAINS – Three area bands rocked out the White Plains nightspot Vintage Bar on May 5 to raise money for the Scarsdale Art Center. The sixth annual Adult Night of Rock drew about 175 people, according to a Teen Center press release, and raised about $8,000.

The fundraiser was hosted by 107.1 The Peak's Jimmy Fink and included raffles and a silent auction.

Bands lending their talents included The DB6, with Dan Bernstein, Dave Cannon, Dan Groner, Mike Pearson, Steve Rabinowitz and Eric Wayne; We Stole The Kids, with August Coupe, Jess Ingui, Erich Sherman, Ziya Smallens, Scott Jacobson and Brett Schneider; and Skyfactor, with Bob Ziegler, Jon Rubin, Cliff Rubin and Jason Taylor.
