Scarsdale Marks Fire Prevention Week With Fair

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – The annual Scarsdale Fire Fair will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Crossway station, Station No. 3.

The event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is held in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week and includes activities geared to the entire family.

The fair will include a Smoke Trailer – a simulated house with a smoke machine for kids to crawl through –  apparatus demonstrations, residential fire sprinkler information and videos, demonstrations, fire prevention videos, literature, food and more. Other "hands on" activities for children are also planned.
