Now, in a program sponsored by the Scarsdale Public Library and Scarsdale Seniors, light will be shed on this complex issue from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Scarsdale Public Library, 54 Olmsted Road.
“Demystifying Medicare and Health Coverage for Seniors” will help those eligible or nearing eligibility or relatives of seniors navigate their way through the system. The interactive program will outline the various parts of Medicare and explain the costs of plans provided by the government and private companies.
Included will be discussion of original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, prescription drug plans (Part D), Medigaps (supplemental plans) and various cost-saving programs.
