Atka is the oldest ambassador wolf at the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC). He arrived at the WCC from Minnesota when he was just eight days old.
He was raised by the WCC staff, volunteers, ambassador wolves and Eno. Eno was the WCC’s resident German shepherd and ambassador wolf nanny.
The WCC's mission is to promote wolf conservation by teaching about wolves, their relationship to the environment and the human role in protecting their future.
At the request of the Conservation Center, all children in attendance must be age 7 and up. Younger siblings cannot be accommodated.
Tickets are required for this event. Tickets will be available in the children's room at the library starting Tuesday, March 1. Children and adults require a ticket.
The library is open from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
