Wild Arctic Gray Wolf Atka Visits Scarsdale Library

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Ambassador Wolf Atka, a 13-year-old, 90-pound wild Arctic gray wolf, will visit the Scarsdale Public Library on Monday, March 14, at 7 p.m.

The program is co-sponsored by the library and the Wolf Conservation Center of South Salem. 

Atka is the oldest ambassador wolf at the WCC. 

The WCC promotes wolf conservation by teaching about wolves, their relationship to the environment and the human role in protecting their future. 

At the request of the WCC, all children attending the program must be at least 7 years old. 

Tickets for this program are available in the library’s children’s room.
