Weinberg Nature Center Launches June Bugz Program

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- If it is June, then it's time for the June Bugz nature program for boys and girls ages 3.5 to six years old at the Weinberg Nature Center in Scarsdale.

Pre-schoolers to kindergarten children take hikes, meet animals and do arts and crafts during the annual June Bugz program at the Weinburg Nature Center.

The daily program runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and includes crafts, stories, mini hikes, eco-dramas, and other nature inspired activities such as play dates with Weinberg's animals.

Children should be potty-trained, wear sunblock and bug repellent and be dressed for nature walks and outdoor fun.

The fee is $40 per day; $195 for the week.
