Service Dogs Strut Their Stuff At Scarsdale Library

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Two service dogs from Canine Companions for Independence will demonstrate their attention to commands and be available for petting at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Scarsdale Public Library.

“Exceptional Dogs for Exceptional People” will feature Forest and Ty, Lab-golden mixes, with Caryl Swain, a volunteer puppy raiser and trainer. The program is appropriate for adults and children. 

Canine Companions for Independence is a nationwide nonprofit organization devoted to raising and training service dogs to be placed free of charge with disabled adults and children
