SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Scarsdale Public Library will hold Finals Nights for high school seniors on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 28 and 29.
The library will remain open from 9 to 11 p.m. for students only.
“Our Finals Nights program is very popular and has expanded in recent years. It gives students an opportunity to study individually or in groups in a relaxed environment,” said Elizabeth Bermel, library director.
“We try to make a stressful time as relaxed as possible. This is the third year we have kept the library open for seniors who take the exams early before they begin Senior Options.”
Finals Nights began five years ago with the library staying open late in June for final exams. Since then it has expanded to include final exams for seniors as well as the January mid-term exams.
Snacks, including fruit and coffee, provided by the Friends of the Library will be available for the students.
