SCARSDALE, N.Y. The Hoff-Barthelson Music School in Scarsdale will host Music of India on Sunday at 2 p.m. The free concert will be at Hoff-Barthelson, 25 School Lane, in Scarsdale.
The concert will feature Hidayat Hussain Khan, sitar; Avirodh Sharma, tabla; and Jhama Rastogi, dancer.The music is part of the schools second season of Global Harmonies, which presents an annual concert from every culture and country around the world. Last years concert featured the music of Japan.
The series was created to celebrate diversity, acknowledge individuality and unleash the power of music as a means to inspire global understanding.For more information, visit the Hoff-Barthelson website.
