JCC Mid-Westchester Holds Interfaith Family Workshops In Scarsdale

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- There will be Interfaith Family Workshops at the JCC Mid-Westchester in Scarsdale.

Marion Usher, Ph. D., will be leading parent and grandparent groups as part of an Interfaith Family Workshop at the JCC Mid Westchester in Scarsdale.

They will be Sunday, Jan. 24.

There will be a parents workshop from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and a grandparents workshop from 3:30-5 p.m. 

Parents will have the opportunity to examine concerns that arise as they navigate their path to raising Jewish children, including potential marital conflicts, feelings of loss and extended family pressures. 

In a separate group, grandparents will learn how to create positive Jewish learning experiences for their grandchildren, as well as how to do "intentional" grandparenting. 

Groups will be led by Marion Usher, Ph. D.

The JCC Mid-Westchester is at 999 Wilmot Road, Scarsdale.
