Greenburgh Nature Center Offers Classes For Young Children

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Weepaint program at the Greenburgh Nature Center has opened, offering classes for children ages 2-4, accompanied by parents or caregivers.

Two time slots are available for this exploration of new materials and textures. Sign up now to reserve a space. 

The following events are taking place in January:

  • Sunday at 2 p.m.: Nature in the New Year. Join a naturalist to observe and learn about winter wildlife. Meet some special animal friends along the way. 
  • Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.: From Behind the Plow: Berry Brook Farm and Rivertowns Farm Markets Bring the Field to Your Table. Learn how small local farms are transforming the food system to bring fresher, healthier and diverse delicious food to the table. Find out how a community supported agriculture group works and determine whether it could be a good fit for a family. Plus, enjoy a taste of fresh winter produce. Refreshments are at 7 p.m., program begins at 7:30 p.m.
