Klein will read and discuss his new memoir, “Lessons of Hope: How to Fix Our Schools.”

The book balances the behind-the-scenes story of New York’s campaign to improve city public education and a blueprint for educational reform with Klein's personal story.

His upbringing in Brooklyn and Queens and the key role that public school teachers played in his success is a significant part of the book.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase, and Klein will be signing copies.
