Here Are Races On The Line In Upcoming Westchester Primaries

Tuesday, June 25 is primary election day in Westchester municipalties.

Voters can only vote in primaries for candidates in the political party in which they are registered. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Here's a rundown of races.

Democratic Party

Greenburgh

Council (Three candidates running for two seats): Gina R. Jackson, incumbent Ken Jones and Eric Zinger.

Town Clerk: incumbent Judith A. Beville and Maria J. Portilla.

Mount Vernon

Council (Vote 2): Joyce Brown and Lisa A. Copeland, Yuhanna J. Edwards, Hope Marable and Jamie R. Pessin, Danielle Scholar and Derrick Thompson.

Mayor: Clyde A Isley, Shawyn Patterson-Howard, incumbent Richard Thomas and Andre Wallace.

New Rochelle

Council District 3: David Peters and Yadira Ramos-Herbert.

Council District 6: Elizabeth M. Fried and Shari Rackman.

White Plains

Common Council (Four candidates running for three seats): Kat Brezler, incumbent Nadine Hunt-Robinson, Victoria Presser and Jennifer Puja.

Yonkers

Council District 1: Terence Miller and Shanae V. Williams.

Council District 3: Tasha Diaz, Olasubomi Macaulay and Dennis M. Robertson.

Mayor: Karen Beltran, Ivy Reeves and incumbent Mike Spano.

Countywide

Westchester County Court Judge (four candidates running for two judge seats): Alexander Eisemann, Melissa A. Loehr, Robert J. Prisco and Michael L. Tawil. (All three candidates also are seeking votes on the Independence Party line.)

County Legislature District 17: 

Jose I Alvarado, London Reyes and Lucy Moreno-Casanova.

Republican Party

Harrison

Town/Village Justice: Pasquale G. Gizzo and Patricia A O'callaghan. (They also are seeking votes on the Conservative and Independence party lines.)

Somers

Town Justice: Michael J. Mcdermott, Donna M. Pascucci and Denis J. Timone. (They also are seeking votes on the Independence and Conservative party lines.) 

Independence

Bedford

Council (two seats open): Bobbi M. Bittker and Ellen Z. Calves.

Cortlandt

Town Justice: Maritza Fugaro-Norton and Daniel F. Mccarthy. (They also are seeking votes on the Working Families Party ballot line.)

New Rochelle

Council District 1: Martha L. Lopez and Louis J. Trangucci.
