Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate a man who intentionally damaged a car outside a hotel in Farmingdale.

Investigators released a surveillance video of a man who damaged a customer’s vehicle in the parking lot of Courtyard by Marriot Republic Airport Long Island on Marriot Plaza in Farmingdale.

The incident was caught on camera between 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22 and 4 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, Sgt. Kenneth McHugh said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect, or who has information regarding the criminal mischief or who knows of the whereabouts of the man has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” with the message to 274637.
