A car reported stolen out in Spring Lake was spotted about 2 a.m.
The suspects were attempting to enter unlocked cars parked in Holmdel driveways, police said.
A stolen white sports car was spotted by police on Cross Run Road near Huntley Road.
When Holmdel police attempted to stop the car, its driver fled. Holmdel police initiated a motor vehicle pursuit and the chase entered the Garden State Parkway.
The pursuit was ultimately terminated on the Garden State Parkway northbound near the Driscoll Bridge.
Holmdel police used the incident to remind residents to lock their cars and remove keys and key fobs.
