  • County officials approved a lease that would allow the Westchester Children's Museum to occupy the former men's bathhouse at Rye Playland. The museum, which was first conceived 13 years ago, is set to open within the next two years.
  • A search was conducted for a 78-year-old Yorktown man who went missing after leaving the American Yacht Club in Rye Sunday night. Police later discovered that he had been killed in a one-car accident in New Castle.
  • The Port Chester Council for the Arts will host performances of three plays at the Rye Country Day School and in Rye Town Park. The productions of "Legally Blonde," "Annie, Jr." and "The Taming of the Shrew" will feature actors from Rye, Rye Brook and Port Chester.
