Tuesday, April 16

Navigating the Challenges of Middle School: 6:30 p.m. Education attorneys Rachel Asher and Julie Gaughran will present this informative talk to parents. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road.

Thursday, April 18

"Escape Fire" Screening: 7:30 p.m. The Rye YMCA and Healthier Port Chester host a screening of the documentary "Escape Fire." The film tells the story of the current state of health care in America. It will be followed by a discussion with Dr. Daren Wu, chief medical officer of Open Door Family Medical Center, and Dr. Henri Roca, medical director of Greenwich Hospital's Integrative Medicine Department. Friday, April 19

Pitch, Hit and Run: 4 p.m. Kids ages 7 to 14 will be able to test their skills in pitching, hitting and running. Overall winners in each age group will move on to sectional competitions. $10 per child. Disbrow Park, 141 Oakland Beach Ave.
