Rye Arts Center Hosts Free Instrument Workshop

RYE, N.Y. -- If your child is interested in joining the school band or orchestra, they can get a sneak peek at what playing an instrument is like at the Rye Arts Center.

Kids can figure out which instrument is best for them at a workshop hosted by the Rye Arts Center.

The Arts Center will host a free family workshop titled "Meet the Instruments" this Sunday. Kids ages 8 and up can test out a variety of band and orchestra instruments and work with music instructors to find out which instrument is best for them.

The workshop will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Rye Arts Center, 51 Milton Road. Space is limited, so register on the Arts Center's website.
