The free-to-the-public event is from noon to 2 p.m. and features a pay-it-forward donation to Grow To Learn, CAVA’s local non-profit partner. The goal of Grow to Learn is to create green spaces where children and teens can learn about urban gardening, sustainability, and healthy eating.
The new Westchester location -- the chain's first in the county and its 41st in its growing estate of restaurants ---is at 3 Rye Ridge Plaza in Rye Brook on the lower plaza level. CAVA recently opened in Greenwich, Conn.
On the menu: Salads, quinoa and grains and greens that you customize with more than 50 offerings. There is also a rotating seasonal list of juices, soups, and roasted vegetables.
CAVA will open its regular business hours starting Friday, Nov. 17 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Go to www.cava.com for more information or call 914-268-9339.
