Investigation, Arrest Thwart $90K Multi-State, Retail Theft Ring, New Canaan Police Say An investigation has resulted in the arrest of a woman in connection with a multi-state retail theft ring that allegedly resulted in $90,000 worth of stolen goods, including in the area. The ring's operation first came to light in Fairfield County in October when three suspects allegedly stole merchandise from the Ralph Lauren Store in New Canaan, stealing more than $300 worth of goods, said New Canaan Police Department Lt.
