Jun Ho, 55, Paramus Resident
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Jun Ho, of Paramus, died on Wednesday, March 22. He was 55.
Born and raised in Beijing, China, Ho was the owner of WJH International, a superconductor engineering company.
He was an avid reader of religion, science, politics and arts.
Ho is survived by his wife, Tina (Zhang); sons Andrew and Tyler; mother Qing; and brother Jie Ho. He was preceded by his father, Bao Guo Ho.
Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., in Oradell, with a 7:30 service.

Mold, Water, Cold: Residents Raise Complaints About Clifton Landlord
CLIFTON, N.J. -- Citizens and community organizers came together to recite tenant stories in Jersey City about their Clifton-based landlord, the Jersey Journal reported.
Jersey City Together has been documenting complaints by residents living in River Edge Management properties. The company is owned by Esther Kaplan, and it recently renamed itself Trendy Management, according to the Jersey Journal.
Residents issues brought up at the meeting included flooding, mold, bedbugs and insufficient heating, among others, the Jersey Journal reported.

Thomas Joseph O'Connor, 89, Longtime Waldwick Resident
WALDWICK, N.J. -- Thomas Joseph O'Connor, of Waldwick, died on Saturday, March 4. He was 89.
Born in Annascaul, County Kerry, Ireland, O'Connor played for the Kerry Minors football team. He emigrated to New York in 1948, where he met his wife.
He served in the 101st Airborne Division as an MP during the Korean War. He retired from the Port Authority of Nork York and New Jersey in 1976.
O'Connor lived in Waldwick for 60 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Duffers Club, and a parishioner of St. Luke's Church in Ho-Ho-Kus.

GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Carrie L. (Nielsen) Lemieux, of Glen Rock, died on Saturday, March 25. She was 94.
Lemieux was a parishioner of St. Catharine Roman Catholic Church in Glen Rock since 1957. She was a member of the Glen Rock Garden Club, Valley Hospital Auxiliary and the Glen Rock Seniors Club.
She also worked in the "Pink Bank" in Glen Rock for 40 years, and she loved gardening, bird watching, listening to music and spending time with her family.

MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Gerald M. Hicswa, of Maywood, died on Sunday, March 26. He was 75.
He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
Hicswa is survived by his sons, Robert and James; siblings Ronald Hicswa, and Diane Davidson and her husband Robert; nine nieces and nephews; and partner Geraldine Brewster and her two daughters and family.

PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- Ruthann M. (Kohnert) McLearie -- a Venice, Florida, resident, formerly of Park Ridge -- died on Friday, March 24. She was 83.
McLearie was a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service in Hillsdale for 30 years. She retired in 1999.
She was a member of the Red Hats in Florida.
McLearie is survived by her father, Ernest Kohnert; sons Brian McLearie, Scott McLearie and his wife Marina, and Mark McLearie and his wife Elisa; and grandchildren Katherine, Meagan and Jessica.

William 'Doc' Lupetti, 69, Lodi Resident
LODI, N.J. -- William A. "Doc" Lupetti -- a Lodi resident, formerly of Paramus and Maywood -- died on Thursday, March 23. He was 69.
A combat veteran of the United States Navy, Lupetti served as a swift boat corpsman during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the New Jersey Naval Museum-USS LING in Hackensack and an avid photographer.

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Richard J. Turpin, of Paramus, died on Saturday, March 25. He was 84.
Born in Canada, Turpin immigrated to New Jersey in 1952. He was a retired electrician and proud member of IBEW Local 102.
He was a very active member of the Annunciation Parish and the Holy Name Society.
