The tournament, sponsored by Westchester County Parks and Recreation, is open to all comers with competition in two age divisions - AA for 13-16 and AAA for players 17 and older.
"We all grew up in the Bronx playing wiffleball," Yonkers resident Danny Harrington said about the popular playground game. "We all moved away from the Bronx to Yonkers, Eastchester and Long Island, but we've played (the county tournament) for two years as a Bronx representative. It's great to get the guys together to play again."
Last year's event drew 18 teams with Mamaroneck's 64 Up, 64 Down topping White Plains' Bru Ha Ha, 1-0, in the championship game. Dave Adler, Michael Adler, Joe Vanderpool and Sam Wallach made up the championship team.
Frank Romano of Yonkers was the 2012 Home Run Derby Champion and won a $100 Visa Gift Card.
Rosters are limited to a maximum of five players and up to 25 teams. Registration is $75 per team. The deadline for registration is July 31.
The entry fee for the Home Run Derby, which was added to the tournament last year, is $5 per person.
