DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. Mercy College's Jenna Ausiello concluded her college career by being named to the East Coast Conference softball first team for a second consecutive year.
The senior, who signed a contract to play professional softball for the Hamburg Knights in Germany beginning in June, was among the conference leaders in many categories.
Ausiello hit .424 for the season, which was second in the conference. She was second in on-base percentage at .458 and third in slugging percentage with .658. Ausiello led the league in doubles with 22 and her 67 hits tied for the conference lead and set a school single-season record.
