Greenwich Woman Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle Driven By Westchester Man

A 77-year-old Greenwich woman who was struck by a vehicle driven by a Westchester resident earlier in the month has died from her injuries.

The woman died on Thursday, Jan. 16, about a week after the crash, police said.

The incident happened around 5:20 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8 on Milbank Avenue in front of Agnes Morley Heights.

The victim, Elizabeth Deering, was hit by the vehicle driven by a 43-year-old Rye Brook man, Greenwich Police said.

The incident is currently under investigation by the department's traffic unit.
