What's Happening in Hastings This Week

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – With St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday there will be plenty to do around the villages for entertainment if you’re not venturing into New York City for the annual parade. Take a look below at what’s happening this weekend around the villages.

- There will be a St. Patrick’s Day benefit concert at the Dobbs Ferry High School auditorium on Friday night at 7 p.m. featuring the Westchester and District pipe band.

- There will be a songwriting workshop with Cliff Eberhardt on Friday at the Purple Crayon from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The workshop is $40 and registration is required.

- Cliff Eberhardt will be performing at the Purple Crayon as well on Friday night at 8 p.m. Tickets are $27 in advance and $30 at the door. 

- The Invasive Vine Task Force will be hosting Free-A-Tree Vine Cutting on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farragut Avenue Restoration site. 

- The Hastings Public Library will be holding a screening of the movie “Fearless” on Sunday at 3 p.m. with dessert and discussion to follow.

- Sunday will kick off the Hudson Valley Restaurant Week with restaurants all across the area participating.
